Vénicia Guinot Nabou Fall Issa YOMENOU BOUKARI Carmen Thiam Mathilde LAFARGE Michel Lobé Ewané Françoise Mariame Koné Bédié Michel Epee Keep your feet grounded and let your dreams expand far far away. So we are extremely grateful to all the beautiful souls we meet along the way. So yes, we are doers, a duo of African Doers making a difference individually and together, a strong partnership contributing day in and day out, giving our best to live a meaningful life and leave a legacy. And at the end of each one Gilles and I look at one another and say : “this was the best one ever”! But the simple truth is the deep connection we create with the participants is what makes them all uniquely fulfilling. Every one of our training sessions comes with it’s load of emotions and learnings so rich, intense moments and great laughters. In order to make that difference, Gilles Amadou Acogny and I designed our methodology using a balanced amount of kindness and good will, generosity and high standards, psychology and neuroscience, sociology and diplomacy, high energy and authenticity, empathy and determination, and, last but not least, the lessons we each learned from our 35+ years of professional experience. 5000 + people trained in the last 6 years with Acosphere Ltd. It became a benchmark and an inspiration for others… Now here I am today, at a point in my journey where I am contributing to shifting mindsets and liberating people’s thoughts and words through transformational public speaking training, but also leadership, communication and personal development trainings. Like the annual listing of the 100 Most Influential Women in Africa that I created for Forbes Afrique. That’s when I started writing about Africa, using my words to portray the face of our continent that mainstream press neglected. Inevitably, that led me to study communications in order to know what we mean when we use signs, words and body language. Then I studied political science so I could better apprehend the impact of politics on our societies. I needed to better understand our intricate societies and cultures. As an African teenager living in Europe, I already wanted to do something meaningful for Africa. That’s when I asked myself the question : “What does it really mean to be an African Doer ?”Īs I paused to think about it the following thoughts came to my mind. When, in 2022, we got news that we had made the list again, we were truly humbled but, this time around, we strongly felt the sense of responsibility that comes with the recognition. When we got the news that we were on the Tropics Business African Doers Powerlist in 2021, we felt proud, honoured and grateful for the recognition and couldn’t wait to share the news.
